Even after using gym memberships, people keep coming back to their Soloflex equipment. You can do dips and chins on the Soloflex, not on the Total gym or Bowflex. It is definetly built as good as the best commercial gym equipment made, if not better. It also takes up much less room than any other complete home gym. Easy to move, one bolt to disassemble.
Soloflex products are extremely high quality the durability, compactness, functionality, workmanship are second to none. Their products are super tough, they will out last any other comparable products. It gives an excellent effective and safe whole body workout. The Muscle Machine is so strong that you can hang up to 500 pounds of freeweights on it's barbell arm. This is easily accomplished with either the Soloflex freeweight adapter bars, or a pair of straight though 1" dumbbell bars, or a 1" thick pipe at least 5 feet long. You can also use up to 400 pounds of weightstraps in standard form for a combined resistance of 900 pounds, you will never outgrow this machine.
This is more resistance than the vast majority of the population can ever use. The bench is rated to 1500 pounds. One bolt and the Soloflex is assembled and ready for use. It only requires 4 feet by 4 feet and is 6 feet tall. Can easily be moved into and out of a corner for use and storage. Soloflex products are pretty much indestructible, far more durable than those flimsy gyms made by other brands. Many users have broken several of those, never anything on the Soloflex. It is easy to transport, the largest part is L-shaped 6 feet by 4 feet.
Soloflex has the most comfortable hand weights. They make an excellent Compound Barbell with rotating handles. The rubber coated weight plates are simply the best. Some other brands of dumbbell plates tend to fall off, even brand new on the showroom floor. The Ironmaster dumbbells are pretty good, but the rack they come with could be of much better quality. The kettlebell handle they have is very good. The powerblock dumbbells are good but myself and some others don't like the look and feel and pointy edges which would be murder on the floors. A personal thing. They are good enough for the Hulk, Lou Ferrigno to endorse them.
The Soloflex has been used and endorsed by athletes, celebrities, and bodybuilders like Frank Zane and Arnold Schwarzenegger. A world record holding powerlifter uses the Sololfex Muscle Machine to train on at home and is very impressed with it.
They have other less well known products. Freeweight and equipment organizers, other things made in the past called the Swimmer, and the Quarterback. If you have any interesting information, videos, opinions, and pictures please feel more than welcome to post them here. They have a controversial vibration platform called the WBV that users report accelerates exercise results. The WBV (whole body vibration) is also available as an attachment that can go on the Muscle machine, Rockit, and flat bench as well as other fitness equipment. Users of them report positive results.
Soloflex machines can be modified as can be seen in the forum. If you are really lacking space, you can get it hacked down into a Mini Muscle Machine. Soloflex has a heavy duty leg press, squatting, and lunge machine called the Rockit also good for up to 900 pounds of resistance. Users of the Soloflex Rockit have modified them to be able to use more than the 900 pound factory limit. You can hang a Shermworks self spotter setup on a single Soloflex or between a pair of them, allowing you to hang a heavy Olympic freeweight barbell between the setup. You can also use the TRX suspension trainer, hang a big punching bag, and the yoga inversion swing, even a huge Hammock can hang between a pair of Soloflex Muscle Machines!
Another thing unique to the Soloflex, is the combination of freeweights and weightstrap resistance. This offers a truly unique feel that no other exercise system offers. It really is the best feel in resistance training. Whether you want to look great naked, sculpt your self into a shapely bodybuilder, become super strong like strongman Doug Hepburn, do rehab, like short intense Arthur Jones, Mike Mentzer, Nautilus Heavy Duty style, or volume training, MMA mixed martial arts, crossfit, live long and strong like Jack LaLanne, rehab, or just get a little exercise once in a while, the Soloflex will do a fantastic job of getting you there. Those that are fans of the Bullworker can also do a wide variety of isometric exercises on it. Need a chinup station for your P90X workout? The Soloflex fits that bill perfectly as well. Inversion training and hanging? No problem, no inversion table or gravity boots needed. It can all be done on the Soloflex Muscle Machine.
It will do taking up less room than anything else you can get, and enhance instead of uglification of the place it's put into like those other home gyms. There is a real estate agent that uses Soloflex Muscle Machines in homes that he showcases and he insists that this moves property.
